‘Gone VR’ is an immersive cinematic narrative experience by St. John’s-based artist, Andrea Cooper. For this project, I created a wide variety of 3D models to emulate the natural biomes of Newfoundland. From the iconic Tuckamore Tree, to Red Pines, Birch Tree Saplings, and a multitude of undergrowth specimen, I produced 12 individual, high-quality nature assets. Additionally, I was also responsible for creating 13 low-poly models of medical pills with fabricated branding for a key VFX narrative moment.
The nature assets created for ‘Gone VR’ were produced in SpeedTree, while the low-poly pill assets were modeled in Blender 3D and textured in Adobe Substance Painter.
